Trainer to Consultant

Objectives:

  • For trainers who regularly present training programs and want to develop their skills into those of an L&D Consultant.
  • To focus on Training Needs Analysis, Design and Evaluation and work with either internal/external stakeholders or clients.

Content:

  • Build on and develop current presentation skills to enhance the learning and outcomes
  • Run a client/stakeholder meeting to define specific training needs. Assess client needs from a given client brief or discussion meeting.
  • Compile a set of training objectives and client outcomes to deliver and use as a measurement of success
  • Create a suitable design and methodology for objectives and design a session preview
  • Discuss pre and post work criteria and tools to use to support and gain success criteria

Outcomes:

  • Provide a range of evaluation results to support return on investment
  • Develop an ongoing client/stakeholder relationship strategy to ensure service delivery, communication and trust
